Plot Device Technology was invented by Chris Doyle over at Reasonably Clever. If the inside of the Sciencemobile looks a little spartan to you, well, Science Guy is much more concerned with functionality than appearance or comfort. Also, it’s a Monster Truck, and they’re not really known for their comfortable interiors.

I tried to recreate Star Trek-style transporter beam effects for the Sciencemobile (you’ll get to see it in better detail in the next couple days). The “wah wah wah waaaaaah” sound effect is supposed to represent the traditional muted trumpet riff which means “fail”. Listen to it here (it’s the first track).
