One hundred strips. I’ve been saving this joke for a special occasion, and #100 seemed like a good opportunity. I saw someone use this “big busted” technique on another LEGO website, and thought there had to be a way I could incorporate it into one of my own characters.

Some comics eschew the use of sound effect words, but I like them. Ben Edlund’s The Tick used sound effects to great hilarity, and my use of “RUMMAGE!” and “SEARCH!” as effects is a tribute to it.
I love the phrase, “awesome power of science”. It sounds so much like classic 1950s banter.
Science Guy is much less “animated” than the other characters on the S-Team. Where they will gesture, turn, and move about wildly at times, he’s content to stay in one place. Or maybe I just surround him with enough difficult things that I can’t easily get my fingers in without the risk of demolishing a set.
