“By Grabthar’s Hammer” was an oath uttered by Alan Rickman’s character on the very funny Galaxy Quest. At one point in the movie, Tim Allen’s character is being pursued by a giant rock monster. Stonewall is also a giant rock monster. You see how things all tie together? Anyway, the greeble is growing, and next week promises to be much fun.

Ever seen a game of jai alai? It’s crazy insane. People DIE playing this sport. The ESPN 8 reference is to the movie Dodgeball, where the fictional channel ESPN 8’s tagline is “If it’s almost sports, it’s on ESPN 8.”

If you haven’t seen the movie The New Guy, well, it isn’t that bad really. In fact, it has some very funny parts to it, in spite of being mostly a teenager comedy. At one point the main character is being coached by a prison convict (played by Eddie Griffin, and who woulda thunked it?) to say “Who’s the beyotch noooOOOOoooow!”
That’s where I got it for Slick’s line at the end.
