The tradition of superheroes being knocked out in one punch at least goes back as far as the ’90s when Batman laid out loudmouth Green Lantern Guy Gardner with one punch, much to the amusement of onlookers. “Bwaaaahahahahaha” is a tribute to those years of the Justice League as written by Keith Giffen.
