For anyone who hasn’t been involved with a pregnant woman, one of the earliest visible signs of the pregnancy is a sudden – and occasionally dramatic – embiggening of the boobs. The running joke in my family is “getting visited by the Titty Fairy” – kind of an adult version of the Tooth Fairy. I thought Titty Fairy was a little outside the “family-friendly” guidelines I set for myself with this strip, so I, uh, softened it to Boobie Fairy.
