Giant robots. Every comic book has to have at least one appearance of a giant robot. I think it’s a law or something. The fellows over at The Ministry of Minor Perfidy, which I read regularly and occasionally contribute to, have an obsession with giant robots. This storyline was to please them.
The “just one more jelly donut” phrase is a reference to a Weird Al Yankovic song.
