One of the things I always found irritating about some comic books is how the characters would refer to each other by their initials (Green Lantern became G.L., Power Girl became P.G., etc.). It just struck me as so yuppie, something I am definitely not!

I’m not quite pleased how this one turned out. My intention was for Stretch to take a good look at all three objects – the axe is plain enough, and the big laser cannon is more or less obvious. But the smallest thing is a sprayer, and it isn’t clear that’s what it is. The joke was supposed to be that Stretch has a choice of all these things here and takes the one that seems entirely useless.

Stretchy heroes like Stretch really can run away faster, because of the advantage gained by long limbs, but they look really floppy and funny when they do.
