Some comics eschew the use of sound effect words, but I like them. Ben Edlund’s The Tick used sound effects to great hilarity, and my use of “RUMMAGE!” and “SEARCH!” as effects is a tribute to it.

I have no idea what most of the gadgets or gizmos in Science Guy’s lab do, and I prefer it that way. A little knowledge, they say, is a dangerous thing.
Sandstorm’s obsession with Silence is a popular topic of discussion in the Men’s locker room at S-Team headquarters, I suspect.
