I imagined Charlton Heston’s funeral to be a rather festive affair, with lots of openly-worn sidearms and target shooting contests for the kids. In case you don’t know, he was a long-time spokesman for the National Rifle Association.

I have a coworker who is easily distracted by shiny, moving objects. Honestly, he’s like a dog watching a squirrel, and that was the inspiration for this strip.
